- W4366374056 abstract "A type of distributed network known as a wireless sensor network enables sensor nodes to enter and exit the network at their discretion. A variety of active and passive attacks can be launched thanks to the network's self-organization, which gives attacker nodes access to networks. One of the recent incidents that falls under different subcategories is the misdirected attack. This assault increment defer in the organization. The attack will start at the available attacker hub. In this work, a novel approach to identify malicious nodes is proposed. The work is simulated in the NS2 and performance of proposed technique is analized. The obtained results are compared with Leach method of malicious nodes detection and improved results are observed. First, it is discovered that the network's packet loss has decreased after the sinkhole attack has been isolated. Second, following the isolation of the attack, lowered energy use and network throughput both grew steadily. The networks responsible for triggering the malicious nodes can be used to identify them. Sinkhole intrusion is initiated by the malicious node or attacker. The network is flooded with fake recognition data as a result of this intrusion. A verification strategy for identifying network-present attacker nodes is proposed in this study. In NS2, the introduced strategy is put to the test. The improvement of performance in relation to various parameters is scrutinized." @default.
