- W4366381330 abstract "By detecting the differential jitter captured by the backscattered laser light by a telescope with a wedge mirror, the differential wavefront lidar is a radar system that measures the intensity of atmospheric optical turbulence. In this paper, a lidar automatic control system based on image processing is designed and developed in order to realize the accurate identification of beacons and the measurement of atmospheric optical turbulence intensity by lidar. The system uses computer vision technology to process and analyze CCD imaging, and OpenCV is used to streamline the centroid calculation procedure. In a large field of view and a small field of view, it can calculate at 100 frames per second and 500 frames per second, respectively; By combining different gradient evaluation indicators, such as EOG and Brenner, the adaptive segmentation technology achieves the function of automatically tracking the beacon; the gradient produced by the focusing process is then completed by binary search. Fast focal length positioning enables the automatic focal length adjustment feature. Experimental functional verification and preliminary measurement were done. The outcomes demonstrate that the system can successfully prevent the loss of the beacon field of view due to movement or significant beacon shake by automatically searching for a suitable focal length and acquisition. At various acquisition frequencies, atmospheric optical turbulence intensity measurements are consistently carried out." @default.
