- W4367017433 abstract "The idea of our project is a smart garbage collecting system that isolates two types of garbage, food, and plastic waste, through a sensor that determines the type of garbage placed in the bin. We need this bin because it has many benefits. Firstly, it will provide an excellent effort for workers in the municipality to isolate two types of garbage, facilitating the work of the municipality workers and those responsible for gathering garbage. Secondly, the bin will provide a safe environment because when the bin has food leftovers and other garbage together in the same bin, it causes odors and therefore spreads germs and viruses in the air, sometimes leading to infectious diseases. Thirdly, it helps simplify the plastic recycling process by collecting all the plastic materials in one place. Also, the municipality could sell the plastic directly to the plastic manufacturers to recycle it. Our system provides one throw of garbage and gets separated with wet leftovers and plastics. In short, this system makes a difference in how people used to get rid of their garbage. Also, it improves their knowledge about better usage of garbage and a clean environment to protect people from diseases. The technological part of this project uses Colab, Keras, and TensorFlow with a Deep Learning method to separate the garbage with the help of IoT, where the hardware part will be implemented using different sensors. This Deep learning technology with IoT sensors will provide accurate delivery of garbage to fertilizers and plastic companies. Hence, our project aims to research patents with our unique and novel idea of a smart garbage collection system. Therefore, this project also obviously reaps benefits for the environment and municipality/industries by reducing human involvement in separating garbage and preventing vulnerable diseases." @default.
