- W4367043784 abstract "The disposal of nonmetallic waste of printed circuit boards (PCB) is mainly through incineration or landfill, which can cause serious environmental pollution and waste resources. In order to efficiently recover PCB, this paper focuses on the effect of PCB on the aging property of SBR modified asphalt. Indoor simulated aging tests were employed to evaluate the aging property of PS asphalt, and the aging rheological behaviors explored by the Dynamic shear rheometer (DSR). Furthermore, fluorescence microscopy (FM) and Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) tests were employed for the analysis of PS asphalt’s aging mechanism from the microscopic composition and structure. The results show that with the incorporation of PCB, the asphaltene and glial molecules in the structure of SBR asphalt components increase. These macromolecules are adsorbed on the surface of asphalt and are not easily aged, which can protect the internal components of asphalt from the effects of aging. Therefore, the aging performance index of PS asphalt is significantly better than that of SBR and base asphalt, and the aging performance is obviously improved, and the incorporation of PCB enhances the deformation resistance of SBR asphalt; FM analysis shows that the incorporation of PCB before aging helps to improve the deformation resistance of SBR asphalt, but weakens its compatibility. The PS asphalt after aging is more stable in structure; FTIR test shows that the addition of PCB makes the PS asphalt can better inhibit the formation of asphalt carbonyl and sulfoxide groups and has strong resistance to aging. The study shows that the addition of PCB as a modifier to SBR modified asphalt improves the aging resistance and rheological property of SBR asphalt after aging, and can be used as a new environmental protection means to treat PCB." @default.
