- W4367187272 abstract "An omnidirectional three-dimensional digital image correlation (DIC) system was developed for full 360-degree inner surface deformation measurements using a pyramid reflector to realize panoramic observation. After the coordinate transformation, the 3D displacement and strain distributions were reconstructed. The basic principles, optical arrangements, and experimental procedures were described in detail. Morphology and rigid-body displacement experiments were conducted to evaluate the efficiency and accuracy of the 3D shape and displacement determination. The experimental results agree well with the actual values and the data obtained by multiple measurements using the traditional 3D-DIC method. Moreover, the proposed method was successfully applied to evaluate the inner deformation distributions of pipes subjected to compression loading. The experimental results further validated the applicability of the proposed method." @default.
