• W4367625175 abstract "This article aims to describe the results of analyzing the critical thinking skills of class X SMK students in Bandung city in solving problems on a system of two-variable linear equations. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were six students of class X majoring in business management at one of the SMK in Bandung. The research instrument consisted of five questions about critical thinking skills. The data analysis technique used was a data collection technique with documentation methods in the form of test results and student interviews. The results showed that students’ critical thinking skills were still low, especially in question number 5, which had indicators namely evaluating and considering reliable sources or arguments. From the analysis results, it was concluded that this was caused by 1). Students had difficulty identifying important information and 2). Students had difficulity making mathematical models, so students were unable to solve problems. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena belum ditemukannya penelitian yang menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis berdasarkan indikator yang diadopsi dari Joko D.P pada konteks siswa SMK. Kemampuan berpikir kritis sendiri bukanlah menyelesaikan persoalan yang kompleks dengan berbagai macam algoritma tetapi merancang algoritma baru dari situasi yang baru. Keterampilan berpikir kritis berguna dalam kehidupan karena semakin tajam kemampuan berpikir kritis maka semakin baik kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil analisis kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas X SMK di Kota Bandung dalam menyelesaikan soal sistem persamaan linear dua variabel. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 6 orang siswa kelas X di SMK Dhyana Sakti Bandung. Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri dari soal tes kemampuan berpikir kritis sebanyak 5 soal, pedoman wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan . Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa masih rendah khususnya pada soal nomor 5 yang memiliki indikator yakni mengevaluasi dan mempertimbangkan sumber terpercaya atau argumen . hal tersebut disebabkan oleh 1). Siswa kesulitan mengidentifikasi informasi penting dari soal cerita sistem persamaan linear dua variabel 2). Siswa kesulitan membuat model matematikanya sehingga siswa tidak mampu menyelesaikan soal." @default.
