- W4375854328 abstract "A high voltage fragmentation device and the mechanism study are presented. The device is capable of reliably delivering up to 200 kV peak amplitude voltage while the rise time of the pulse can vary from 100~500 ns. The theoretical calculation of the constraints for circuit equivalent parameters at fragmentation shows that the disintegration will not occur below a certain water resistance or over a level of water capacitance. It is found that a single pulse output consists of both DC and AC components, which will result in corresponding electric field effects. The simulation outcomes can elucidate the mechanism that the particles containing metalliferous minerals or metal with high conductivity/permittivity are more prone to produce destructive effects than the barren particles with no such mineral or metal contained, as observed in this study and reported in the literature." @default.
