- W4375854541 abstract "The wind-induced vibration response of the small-span and large-difference conductors will directly affect the wind deflection, fatigue damage, and line clearance safety of the conductor and its connecting fittings. In this paper, the Davenport spatial coherence function and harmonic synthesis method are used to simulate the 3D wind field, and the typical finite element models of four-bundle and double-bundle conductor structure systems are established based on curved beam theory. The geometric large deformation wind vibration response analysis is conducted through Newton Rapson iteration method, and the influence of the aerodynamic damping of the bundled conductors on the wind vibration response is discussed. The results show that the response of the discussed four-bundle conductor is dominated by the first mode along the wind, and the resonance component is large. Additionally, with the increase of wind speed, the influence of structural aerodynamic damping on the wind vibration response of the conductor becomes stronger, and the reduction effect of aerodynamic damping effect on the vibration response of the double-bundle conductor is significantly greater than that on the four-bundle conductor. The research results are helpful for power grid operators to check the clearance and wind deflection safety margin of overhead lines during vibration under wind environment in real-time." @default.
