- W4377019680 abstract "A new MIL-100(Fe) coated with perylene diimide (MIL-100(Fe)/PDI) heterojunction photocatalytic materials prepared by solution impregnation method. The composite material significantly promoted removal rate for Bisphenol A(BPA) under the MIL-100(Fe)/PDI/Persulfate (PS)/Visible light (Vis) system. The 0.4 g/L MIL-100(Fe)/PDI composite and 8 mM PS achieved 100% degradation of BPA at natural pH. On the MIL-100(Fe)/PDI/PS/Vis system, the kinetic rate constant of the reaction(k) was 0.08714 min−1. The enhanced degradation performance may be attributed to the transport of photo-generated electrons from PDI to MIL-100 (Fe). And this photocatalytic promotes more reactive oxygen species are produced, leading to a greatly accelerated activation of PS to produce highly reactive SO4•−. The free radical quenching assays indicated that h+, SO4•− and •OH play a dominating role. This study presents a new viewpoint for constructing heterojunction photocatalysts of Fe-based MOFs, which provides an effective way for the PS/Vis system to remove organic pollutants, and provides a new direction for building a good eco-friendly system." @default.
