• W4377102019 abstract "조선 후기의 향촌 사족 위백규가 지은 <자회가>는 돌아가신 부모를 떠올리며 자신의 불효를 뉘우치고 부모를 욕되게 하지 않는 길을 다짐하는 등의 내용을 담은 가사 작품이다. 조선 후기 교훈가사의 하나이나, 작자의 체험을 반영한 노년의 비탄이 생생하게 드러난다는 점에서 특별한 면이 있다. 이 글은 위백규의 연보에 기록된 작품의 창작에 관한 기록과 작품의 실제 내용 사이의 공통점과 차이에 주목하여 작자의 뉘우침과 작품 속 화자의 뉘우침이 서로 어떻게 연결되는지를 설명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 화자의 태도에 주목하며 작자의 전기적 사실들과 작품 속 화자의 모습을 비교하였다. 비록 작자의 전기적 사실들과 작품 속 화자의 과거 행태가 불일치하는 것으로 보이는 부분도 있으나, 작품에 반영된 작자의 전기적 사실들이 상당하고, 화자가 자신의 젊은 시절에 대해 다소 과장적인 태도로 비판하고 있어 실제의 과오보다 더 불효한 모습으로 보이게 하는 측면이 있으며, 작자와 수용자 모두 문중의 일원으로서 동질성이 있다는 점에서 작자와 화자의 동질성이 충분히 확보된다는 점을 확인하였다. 이와 함께 이 작품의 창작이 결속력을 잃어가는 가문 구성원들을 질책하고 교화하려는 목적에 국한되지 않는다는 점도 논의하였다. 사상가 위백규의 일생을 고려할 때, 이 작품의 심층에는 헛된 인생에서 벗어나는 유일한 길로써 그가 선택한 윤리적 지향을 집대성하려는 의도가 자리잡고 있는 것으로 보인다." @default.
