Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada akhir Desember 2018 di hutan pinus alam Kabupaten Gayo Lues dengan menggunakan cuplikan disengaja (purposive sampling) berdasarkan luas sebaran populasi pinus yang sudah dilakukan penyadapan. Kecamatan Blang Jerango, Dabun Gelang, dan Rikit Gaib terpilih sebagai lokasi penelitian untuk pendataan praktik penyadapan pinus. Pendataan jumlah, panjang dan lebar koakan dilakukan pada lima kelas diameter sesuai petunjuk teknis Dinas Kehutanan Aceh yaitu diameter 20-30, 30-41, 41-58, 58-75, dan 75 cm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cara penyadapan pinus di Kecamatan Blang Jerango, Dabun Gelang, dan Rikit Gaib menunjukkan tingkat kepatuhan yang sangat rendah dengan tingkat kesesuaian rerata 14,8%. Penyadapan pinus di Kecamatan Dabun Gelang menunjukkan tingkat kepatuhan yang sangat rendah dibandingkan dengan Blang Jerango dan Rikit Gaib dengan nilai kepatuhan rerata setiapa Kecamatan tersebut sebesar 5%; 13% dan 32,5%. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pengawasan yang baik untuk dapat mempertahankan hutan pinus yang lestari di Kabupaten Gayo Lues.Kata kunci: Perbandingan, Penyadapan Pinus, Prosedur Baku, Gayo Lues(Comparison of pine tapping methods in Gayo Lues regency with standard pine tapping procedures)Abstract.This comparative study of pine tapping methods in Gayo Lues Regency with standard pine tapping procedures aims to determine the of pine tapping in Gayo Lues regency, in applying technical instruction, pine tapping issued by the Aceh Forestry Service. The study was carried out at the end of December 2018 in the natural pine forest of Gayo Lues regency using purposive sampling based on the distribution area of the population that had been tapped. The districts of Blang Jerango, Dabun Gelang, and Rikit gaib were selected as research locations for data collection on pine tapping practice. Data collections on the number, length and width of quarre system was carried out on five diameter classes according to the technical instructions of the Aceh Forestry service, namely diameter 20-30, 30-41, 41-58, 58-75, and 75 cm. the results showed that the pine tapping method in the Districts of Blang Jerango, Dabun Gelang, and Rikit Gaib showed a very low level of compliance with average conformity level of 14.8%. Among the sub-districts selected as research locations, the data showed that pine tapping in Dabun Gelang district showed a very low level of compliance compared to Blang Jerango and Rikit Gaib with the average compliance value of each sub-district of 5%, 13% and 32,5%, respectively. Therefore, good supervision is needed in the practice of pine tapping to be able to maintain a sustainable pine forest in Gayo Lues Regency.
