The methodological basis of the study is a complex of means aimed at forming a healthy lifestyle of student youth and determines the purpose of the study: based on the analysis of specialized literature and foreign experience, determine the effectiveness of health and recreational activities in the process of forming a healthy lifestyle. The methodological basis of the research: methods were used in the work: the method of theoretical analysis of literary and Internet sources; sociological research methods (questionnaires, interviews, surveys); pedagogical methods of research (observation, experiment), methods of researching the volume of motor activity, methods of mathematical statistics. 15 full-time students (8 boys, 7 girls) of the department of fitness and recreation who expressed a desire to participate in the experiment took part in the research and experimental work. Based on the analysis of the results of the questionnaire, the factors of an unhealthy lifestyle were identified: a sedentary lifestyle and bad habits. Analyzing the causes of a sedentary lifestyle, it is necessary to involve students in motor activity classes, forming in them the need for an active, mobile lifestyle. Based on the motor activity research methodology, after analyzing the data obtained on the number of steps taken by students per day during the week, all students were divided into 3 groups according to the level of motor activity. It was found that only 20% of students follow a movement regime that satisfies the natural need for movement. Most students have a significant lack of motor activity, lack of motivation to do physical exercises. It is concluded that the results of the questionnaire, a program of health and recreational activities was developed, which consisted of three blocks: power (strength training in fitness), a recreational block, which included weekend hikes, bike rides, rollerblading, quests, and an informational block for motivation and encouragement of students to daily physical activity, information about a healthy lifestyle, its components, principles, mode of compliance, etc. As a result of systematic health-recreational motor activity classes for three months, positive dynamics took place: It was established that after the experiment, the motor activity of students significantly improved, 87% of students showed a high level of motor activity, 13% - medium, no low level was detected." @default.
