This study investigates a realistically simple biped model to study the interaction between lower limbs and trunk with different trunk postures, which is still relatively unexplored, although the trunk makes up about two thirds of the body weight. The results of this study demonstrate that a simple mathematical model is capable of predicting a number of results of posture and gait that align with the reported experimental results in the literature. Additionally, the study reveals significant adaptations in the kinetic and kinematics gait parameters of the lower limbs to compensate for various normal and abnormal trunk conditions." @default.
