To fulfill the load demand most countries depend on thermal power plants because they supply around 52 -56% of total generated power in all sectors. The cost of power generated at thermal power plants increases, since coal is the main fuel for thermal power plants hence total generation cost is affected by the use of much coal. Also if used much coal for power generation it also emits toxic gases and pollutes the environment. power generation at a low cost and also reduce the environmental emission it is required to combine the renewable power generation system with the thermal power plant. So adopting the hybrid power generation system in the current scenario is the most effective, efficient, and economical system. The hybrid system is also very useful for the remote areas where electrical power supply is available randomly. This work simulates the different available power generation systems like wind, solar, diesel, and thermal plants and tries to find out which combination of the generation system is most economical for the same load demand. This work simulates various interconnected hybrid systems such as 1) PV and diesel systems 2) PV and wind systems, and 3) PV, wind, and diesel generator systems. The motive is to simulate the different systems and find out comparative results so that we can understand which system is most feasible for our work. The comparison of these proposed systems is done on the basis of different economic indicators like initial capital of the plant, operating cost, net present generation cost, and cost of energy." @default.
