Evidence-based coaching (EBC) and positive psychology coaching (PPC) at the executive and leadership level can be the keys to help leaders. This study strives to help answer the question of whether EBC and PPC directed at executives and leaders can result in positive leadership outcomes. Using nine building blocks (PERMA+4: the original five factors of PERMA; positive emotions, engagement, relationships, meaning, accomplishment, plus four additional factors of physical health, mindset, environment and economic security) this study explores using an EBC and PPC framework the authors title, ‘coaching for positive, or, Coach4+’. This study provides a unique perspective to consider and aims to contribute to the growing base of work in positive psychology coaching.
