- W4380591211 abstract "In this work, we investigate the impact of population density, CO2 emissions, and tree coverage on air quality in Kyrgyzstan by analyzing it with 31 other countries. The study em-ploys three types of analysis: correlation, mapping, and seasonal analysis. The correlation analysis revealed that population density has a medium effect on air quality index (AQI), with a correlation coefficient of 0.43. Tree coverage has a negative correlation of -0.43 with AQI, indicating that in some areas with more trees, the air is less polluted. CO2 emissions have a slight positive correlation of 0.21 with AQI. The mapping analysis showed that areas with higher tree coverage density tend to have better air quality. The seasonal analysis showed that AQI level in the Eurasia continent is generally worse during the winter months, while in the Americas continent, it is worse during the summer months, however, their AQI level still remains within a healthy range. The overall AQI in Kyrgyzstan is below 50 (considered healthy) during the summer months, but it increases above 100 (considered unhealthy) during the winter months. Additionally, the overall mean values of AQI in most of the countries are slightly better in spring than in fall. This research provides an understanding of the factors that contribute to air pollution in Kyrgyzstan and other countries, and identifies potential solutions that can help to improve air quality." @default.
