- W4380758846 abstract "The ZnO thin films were formed on glass substrates using the traditional spray pyrolysis process at 300 °C. The deposited films were heat treated for one hour in the open air at 350 °C, 400 °C, and 450 °C. The XRD results show the formation of polycrystalline, single-phased ZnO with a hexagonal wurtzite structure. Along with XRD, Raman spectra show the increase in crystallinity of the films with the rise of annealing temperature. Furthermore, the annealing temperature was demonstrated to have a considerable impact on the morphological surface features of thin films. When compared to as-deposited films, annealed films had a more uniform distribution of spherically formed grains. UV–Visible spectroscopy measurements show that the optical energy band gap of samples increases slightly with annealing temperature. In this study, correlations are established between the annealing temperature and the structural, morphological, and optical properties of ZnO thin films." @default.
