Breast cancer (BC) is the most common cancer among females in metropolitan India that accounts for 21% of all cancers, even though most of BCs are curable. But triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is the most aggressive subtype that has a high reappearance rate, aggressive tumor behavior, and indicates resistance to conventional treatments, resulting in deprived diagnosis and survival rates. Worldwide research is going on in the domain of nanoformulations-based treatment for TNBC. This book chapter aims to provide deep insight into a comprehensive analysis of the various nanotechnology-based formulations for the treatment of TNBC such as nanoparticles, quantum dots, liposomes, nanostructured lipid carriers, dendrimers, nanoconjugates, and micelles. Different pathways responsible for the growth of TNBC are also highlighted. The data of clinical trials (CTs) including treatment and prognosis of TNBC are also summarized. This book chapter delivers a summary of the current TNBC vaccines that are under CT. This chapter also covers the commercial patented technology platforms, and recent patents granted and filed for its treatment. The Google patent, United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), Escapenet, and many others were used as the search engine for patent search, and data were collected and evaluated. Finally, the authors have also focused on prospective future advancements and current challenges for developing nanoformulations for TNBC treatment." @default.
