- W4381188992 abstract "Islamic boarding schools have a strong influence in society, especially in the field of education. Along with the times, Islamic boarding schools are required to keep up with these developments. The purpose of this study is to find out how education in Islamic boarding schools deals with the times. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a sociological approach using Talcott Parsons' social system theory, carried out in several Islamic boarding schools in Pekalongan City. The informants from this study consisted of students and students who were currently studying at boarding schools and campuses. The results of the study show that in supporting Islamic boarding school education, several innovations are made so that they are not considered outdated by adding infrastructure such as Wi-fi, allowing students to use mobile phones or laptops, and innovating old and current learning methods." @default.
