- W4381301992 abstract "According to the World Health Organization, there are inadequate resources for patients with neurological disorders, highlighting inequalities in access to neurological care across different populations, particularly in those living in low-income countries and underserved regions. Traditional medical practice is only sometimes the most efficient or convenient way to care for our patients with neurological disorders. With an increasing demand for neurologic services in a growing and aging population, telemedicine can be one way to extend our reach to our patients, providing accessible, cost-effective, and high-quality healthcare services. Telemedicine is expanding across the World, facilitating access in low-income countries and other underserved areas to neurological services. Several telemedicine studies have been conducted for clinical care, treatment, and education, showing the feasibility and high satisfaction in different movement disorders. With advances in the development of mobile communications in the future, there is no doubt that telemedicine will significantly impact the delivery of health care around the World." @default.
