Notably, grisgenomycins represent a new group of bicyclic decapeptides featuring an unprecedented C–C bond between the tryptophan carbocycle and the cinnamoyl group. A plausible biosynthetic pathway for grisgenomycins was deduced by a bioinformatics analysis. Grisgenomycins exhibited activity against human coronaviruses at the micromolar level." @default.
