- W4382023609 abstract "The main objective of each lesson should be to achieve a specific learning outcome, in particular the acquisition, formation or development by the student of the specific competencies, skills, attitudes, values specified in the relevant curriculum framework component. Therefore, approaches to the design and delivery of learning activities need to change. The teacher should move from transferring ready-made knowledge to methods that allow students to gain knowledge on their own through learning activities; to express their own views on certain processes or phenomena, etc. At the current stage of pedagogical development, it is possible to try different forms and methods of teaching and modern educational technologies that contribute to the formation of students’ subject competences and the development of their creative potential. The aim of the article is to reveal the peculiarities of the formation of basic concepts when teaching «The theory of the chemical structure of organic substances» taking into account the limited consideration of this topic in the curriculum. An important methodological problem of the school subject «Organic chemistry», as well as of any other subject, is the identification of the main points and notions in the process of teaching organic chemistry, which permeate the whole course of organic chemistry and link all the studied material into a unified system of knowledge. The topic «Theory of Structure of Organic Compounds» occupies a special place in a school course of organic chemistry, since it begins the study of a virtually new independent chemical science and allows further study of organic chemistry on a certain theoretical basis; the Theory is the basic theory which permeates the entire school course of organic chemistry, is the foundation of organic chemistry and is an important connecting link between inorganic and organic chemistry. Its main points are common to these sciences. The methodological features of teaching the topic are: the successful choice of method and the use of modern state-of-the-art technologies used by the teacher in studying the topic, highlighting the main and important in the topic (components and their content are specified in the basic and high school chemistry curricula); maintaining motivation in the educational aspirants." @default.
