Properties of Synthesized ZrO2 nanoparticles were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and UV-visible devices. Direct electrochemistry of the modified GCE with Cyt c and ZrO2 nanoparticles achieved and formal potential (E0) calculated as: -117.5 mV versus reference electrode. Protein structure of cytochrome c with heme center could change oxidative iron state (Fe3+) to reductive state (Fe2+) and vice versa by electron transfer. We used of this electron transfer in designing a biosensor for hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) detection. The linear dependence of cathodic peak on the H2O2 concentration was observed in the range of 40 to 270μM; also designed biosensor showed a good reproducibility and stability." @default.
