- W4382203971 abstract "In order to achieve high-efficiency output in the S-band, a 10-cavity magnetron is designed. The size of each part of the magnetron is determined according to the design requirements. We use the cross-chain structure to improve the frequency interval between the <tex xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>$pi$</tex> -mode and the adjacent mode, and improve the coupling output matching structure. PIC simulation is done to calculate the performance of the magnetron. The final result of <tex xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>$boldsymbol{PIC}$</tex> simulation is displayed that the magnetron in this paper was able to produce the calculated output power increased to 12.6 kW with anode current <tex xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>$boldsymbol{I_{a}=1.79}$</tex> A, operating frequency <tex xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>$boldsymbol{f_{1}=2.4624}$</tex> GHz and, which resulted an increase in electronic efficiency of the magnetron operation of 90.25% at external axial magnetic field <tex xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>$boldsymbol{B_{0}=0.32mathrm{T}}$</tex> and applied voltage <tex xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>$boldsymbol{V_{0}=7.38text{kV}}$</tex> . Compared with the traditional S-band magnetron, the magnetron designed in this paper provides an effective scheme for high-efficiency microwave output." @default.
