- W4382468613 abstract "The development of MnAgS films was accomplished by electrochemical deposition. The 2.5 cm × 1.5 cm FTO-covered substrate that functioned as the working electrode. The structural and optical tests were done to see if the films may be suitable for photovoltaic applications. MnAgS has a polycrystalline hexagonal structure, with a distinct peak at orientation (1 0 5) at a diffraction angle of 25.85°, according to the spectrum. The manganese silver sulphide material that was formed by changing the molar concentration of manganese exhibits a strong peak intensity that is associated with 2theta angles of 15.28°, 16.89°, 18.88°, 25.86°, 31.25°, and 32.93°. The micrograph shows well-packed nanoparticles of various sizes and shapes in granular form. Similar to a crumpled dry leaf, the nanoparticles are well-combined. The grain size of MnAgS is just under 2 nm, which also matches the grain size determined by the structural characteristics of the films and defined by the massive number of aggregated nanoparticles. As the manganese molar concentration was changed, the absorbance of the films decreased. The absorbance of the films decreases down the spectra as the molarity of manganese increases from 0.2, 0.3, and 0.4 M. The MnAgS exhibits the largest bandgap energy in the spectra at 2.89 eV, followed by films formed at manganese molarities of 0.2, 0.3 and 0.4 M with bandgaps of 2.51 eV, 2.49 eV and 2.47 eV, respectively." @default.
