- W4382585328 abstract "Dopamine (DA) and serotonin (5-HT) are directly and simultaneously determined in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) by using MWNTs-SiO2-chitosan composites modified screen-printed electrode (SPE). Owing to the high catalytic activity of composites, the modified electrode is found to exhibit a remarkably enhanced electro-activity toward the sensing of DA and 5-HT. Under optimum experimental conditions, the MWNTs-SiO2-chitosan composites modified SPE could be used for the determination of DA and 5-HT in wide concentration ranges of 1 μM~20 μM and 0.1 μM~2 μM, respectively, whereas the detection limits have been found to be 0.2 μM and 0.01 μM, respectively. Furthermore, the proposed sensor is successfully used for the detection of DA and 5-HT in rat CSF samples. The results display rapid response, expanded linear response range and excellent repeatability." @default.
