- W4382791984 abstract "Abstract: Women who have had miscarriages are prone to experiencing mental health problems, such as experiencing stress, frustration and depression. Women need high self-compassion to be able to overcome them. Women who experience a lack of self-compassion will become maladaptive, such as assuming that they have a problem, always judge others negatively, and are always bound by negative emotions. Self-compassion is an open attitude, moved by the suffering experienced, compassion and care for oneself, understanding one's shortcomings and failures without judging, accepting one's strengths and weaknesses, and realizing the same experience can happen to others. This study aims to get an overview of self-compassion in women who have had a miscarriage. This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach by collecting data using interviews, observation and documentation. This study involved three female informants who had experienced a miscarriage using purposive sampling and significant other techniques. The results of the study can be obtained that self-compassion can help individuals accept when facing problems in their life. The researcher concluded that the three informants had self-compassion in themselves, in accordance with the presence of three components of self-compassion in the three informants of this study.

 Abstak: Wanita yang pernah mengalami keguguran rentan mengalami gangguan kesehatan mental, seperti mengalami stress, frustasi dan depresi. Wanita membutuhkan self compassion yang tinggi untuk dapat mengatasinya. Wanita yang mengalami self-compassion yang kurang maka akan menjadi maladaptif seperti menganggap bahwa dirinya bermasalah, selalu menilai orang lain secara negatif, dan selalu terikat dengan emosi negative. Self-compassion adalah sikap terbuka, tergerak oleh penderitaan yang dialami, kasih sayang dan peduli diri sendiri, memahami kekurangan dan kegagalan seseorang tanpa menghakimi, menerima kelebihan dan kekurangan seseorang, dan menyadari pengalaman yang sama dapat terjadi pada orang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai self-compassion pada wanita yang pernah mengalami keguguran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi dengan pengumpulan data mengunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan tiga informan wanita yang pernah mengalami keguguran menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan significant other. Hasil penelitian dapat diperoleh bahwa self-compassion dapat membantu individu menerima ketika menghadapi persoalan dalam hidupnya. Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa ketiga informan memiliki self-compassion dalam dirinya, sesuai dengan terdapatnya tiga komponen self-compassion dalam diri ketiga informan penelitian ini.
