- W4382863924 abstract "This paper investigates the effect of high-pressure on core loss and efficiency of permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) with Fe-Co-V alloy. Deep-sea motors need to withstand high-pressure environment, which can make the magnetic properties of soft magnetic materials change. The magnetic properties of silicon steel, a kind of the most widely used soft magnetic materials in motors, deteriorate severely under high-pressure, which leads to motor efficiency reduction. As a soft magnetic material with high saturation magnetic density, Fe-Co-V alloy instead of silicon steel is used in the motor to improve the torque density significantly. However, the variation law of its magnetic properties under high-pressure environment is unknown. Through pressure experiments, this paper firstly reveals that the effect of high-pressure environment on the magnetic properties of Fe-Co-V alloy is very small, much smaller than the effect of pressure on silicon steel. Therefore, this paper proposes the use of Fe-Co-V alloy for deep-sea motors manufacturing to improve its performance. The superior efficiency of Deep-sea motors with Fe-Co-V alloy under high-pressure environment is verified by the finite element method (FEM) compared to motors with silicon steel." @default.
