- W4382866043 abstract "The concept of resilience in health work in fragile and conflict-affected settings (FCS) is starting to gain some traction. The resilient capacity of the healthcare workforce, organizational resilience, and community resilience are emerging as three areas that contribute to broader health system resilience (HSR). However, research on HSR in FCS remains limited, as does its wider practical application. The links between HSR and peace promotion are promising but largely underexplored. Issues for future study are thus tied to developing and applying HSR approaches in FCS, catering for situations of limited international cooperation with the national government, and subnational variation in government control giving rise to localized health systems connected or disconnected from the center. In protracted crises, the interplay between national health systems, community health providers, and international humanitarian actors is key." @default.
