- W4382897105 abstract "The main role of the electric power distribution network system is to deliver electrical energy reliably and continuously from the distribution system and to the load and customers. The increasing need for electric power demands an electric power system that has reliability in the supply and distribution of power in a distribution network. In increasing reliability, we must also anticipate existing internal and external disturbances. One example of internal fault is a conductor that is no longer able to deliver current to the load and external disturbances, one of which is the disturbance caused by billboards. Due to such disturbances, segment load breaks can be held. In general, segment load breaking is a tactical step in minimizing ENS. The method used in this thesis is the data collection method, which is the method taken to retrieve data from the variables of the research activity. The methods used in this activity are literature studies, interviews, and data collection. In this thesis, segment load breakdowns greatly affect the reliability of the distribution network. Segment load splitting is a tactical step to minimize energy that is not distributed, therefore the segment is split or the addition of a sectionalizer to the segment in order to minimize the energy that is not distributed. Before knowing which energy is not channeled we first look at how to maneuver to secure the segment that has been divided. Maneuvers in that segment can be performed with the first few maneuverable conditions from the Wolf sectionalizer on the UNM feeder and from the Maricayyya sectionalizer on the Monginsidi feeder. There are several things to consider before maneuvering the load, one of which is the feeder or sectionalizer to be loaded which must be able to bear the total load during the maneuver and at peak load and after the maneuver, the things that must be considered are the voltage after the maneuver, the current after the maneuver and the power after the maneuver. The result after the maneuver shows a decreasing value in the rated current and power. Factors that cause, among others, the transformer capacity of the Rappocini feeder is greater than that of other backup feeders.
With this it can be concluded that the value of voltage, current and power decreases due to the different transformer capacities and the load borne by the backup feed. And the addition of a sectionalizer can reduce the energy that is not distributed as a result of a power cut." @default.
