- W4383426488 abstract "Black phosphorus (BP) has attracted a lot of attention since it was first used as a field-effect transistor (FET) in 2014. This is because of its exceptional surface activity, tuneable direct bandgap, anisotropic electroconductivity, high hole mobility, moderate switching ratio, good biodegradability, and biocompatibility. Innovative research projects have investigated the use of BP in various electrochemical sensors. This chapter provides an overview of the most recent BP and its derivatives for electrochemical sensing applications, synthesis techniques, and protection strategies. Various electrochemical sensors such as chemically modified electrode, aptasensors, immunosensors and electrochemiluminescence (ECL) sensors are also discussed in detail. Finally, the main challenges in this area are discussed, and future prospects for electrochemical sensors based on BP are underlined." @default.
