- W4383824575 abstract "A 3-month-old male baby with white pupillary reflex in the left eye underwent ultrawide-field (UWF) imaging using UWF Optos camera (Optos, Dunfermline, UK) following indirect ophthalmoscopic examination with a strong clinical suspicion of retinoblastoma. Popularly called “flying baby position,”[1,2] the technique allows imaging of peripheral lesions in infants and has been used for UWF angiography and optical coherence tomography imaging in infants with retinopathy of prematurity.[3,4] [Figure 1] illustrates its usage in photographing retinal tumors in infants. Underlining its importance in screening and following up of other eye in retinoblastoma, this technique obviates the need for separate equipment to photograph adults and babies.Figure 1: Ultrawide-field imaging of right eye (a) and left eye (b). A space-occupying lesion strongly suspicious of exophytic type of retinoblastoma (4.5 mm × 3.5 mm approximately) was seen in the right eye. The tumor in the left eye, exophytic in character, seemed to be much larger in sizeFinancial support and sponsorship Nil. Conflicts of interest There are no conflicts of interest." @default.
