This study aims to propose the possibility of designing speaking content using metacognitive strategies in connection with the reading thinking process of college students. Reading refers to a dynamic thinking process in which the reader constructs meaning in a given text. In the process, unfinished parts can be filled or the content can be expanded. For a successful discussion, the author reviewed previous studies close to this paper and redefined the concept of higher cognition, and then discussed prediction methods, reading knowledge, and reading coordination. At this time, it was confirmed that knowledge acceptance and coordination strategies serve as key tools for activating metacognition in the process of reading college students to solve problems with tasks. In text writing through reading, it was judged that it was possible to discuss the possibility of extended speech expression and to train by applying the meaning check and evaluation of text content among the metacognition stages. I hope this study will help the teaching method of speech expression through reading for college students in the AI era." @default.
