- W4384129940 abstract "This paper reported a cross polarizer FSS using graphene material in microwave frequency range. The structure consists of two-dimensional (2-D) periodic array of double layer of circular split rings impinged on a metal-backed dielectric substrate. Broadband reflection from 8.1 to 12.7 GHz covering the entire X-band has been observed in simulation under normal incidence under -10dB. The simulated results studied under cross and co-polarized reflection coefficient for x- and y- polarized wave where polarization conversion ratio (PCR) found to be greater than 99% for both x- and y- polarized wave. The surface current distribution has been illustrated to observe the direction of electric and magnetic field of the proposed structure. The simulation result of bistatic radar cross section (RCS) has been demonstrated in order to get a knowledge of getting how much detectable is an object, where RCS of metal plate, CSRR design using copper and graphene material is computed. Graphene based FSS has been demonstrated by tuning chemical potential of graphene material. The designed structure is compact, ultrathin (corresponding to center frequency) and provides an alternative to construct broadband cross polarizer for many potential applications. The designed absorber can be used in RCS reduction in order to totally reflects the incident wave." @default.
