На примере наиболее характерных фрагментов указанных источников демонстрируется постепенная смена акцентов в интерпретации темы человека от традиционных коллективных установок первобытного мифологического мировоззрения к первым попыткам индивидуальной рефлексии человеческой природы, личности и судьбы, что, в конечном счѐте, стало одним из важных векторов развития предфилософской мысли во всѐм культурном ареале Восточного Средиземноморья в канун эпохи «осевого времени». The article is devoted to the problem of man, his nature and place in the world in the ancient Egyptian religious and didactic tradition of the turn of the III–II millennium BC, first of all, in such significant sources as the spells of the Coffin Texts and the so-called «Hymn to the Creator» from the epilogue of «Instructions for Merikare». Despite the fact that anthropocentrism has never been a distinctive feature of ancient Egyptian mythology, the theme of man and his nature has traditionally been inscribed in the context of socio-political issues, as well as ideas about death, the afterlife and the posthumous existence of man. By the example of the most characteristic fragments of these sources, a gradual change of emphasis in the interpretation of the theme of man is demonstrated from the traditional collective attitudes of the primitive mythological worldview to the first attempts at individual reflection of human nature, personality and destiny, which ultimately became one of the important vectors of the development of pre-philosophical thought throughout the cultural area of the Eastern Mediterranean on the eve of the epoch of «axial age»." @default.
