- W4384347893 abstract "The article summarizes the trends and individual challenges of the marketing environment, which determine the state of the events market. The main economic and social effects formed by the event industry for the economy of the country, territories, and cities are considered. The organizational, economic, and social losses to the event industry caused by the spread of SARS-CoV-2 and strict quarantine restrictions are presented. It was noted that the event industry, among other things, is a socially significant industry, as it creates jobs not only at its companies, but also in related industries. Generalized insights from international professional associations, marketing and consulting companies - McKinsey, Reed Exhibitions Limited, IACC, Business Summit, 42 Agency. A conclusion was made about the new trend of event format - omnichannel, hybrid, which combines offline and online, intertwines physical and virtual reality, combines physical and digital platforms. The hybrid format is gradually introduced into event marketing tools and technologies, takes its share in marketing budgets, increases the share of the digital part of the event, and is used in the organization of traditional events. According to the IACC, the considered trends in the development of conference spaces were formed under the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic: high-speed Internet, VR and contactless technologies; special requirements for food and playgrounds; positive personal experience of participants; creative furniture and biophilic design; growing role of new generations. There has been an increase in orders from eSports professionals, formal and informal SMERF groups. Practical cases from a digital economy company are considered, which demonstrate flexibility in carrying out landmark events for them in conditions of crisis and restrictions, use non-standard and creative methods that work to support and develop the brand legend. The specifics of holding events for new generations (millennials-leaders and buzzer-ecoactivists) are emphasized, marketers need to take into account their digital orientation, offer solutions for the economy of virtual experiences, increased attention to ecology and sustainability. The trends and trends that will influence the organization and tools of event-marketing when shaping the directions of event activity of domestic companies, cities and territories are highlighted." @default.
