Metallic nanoparticles such as gold, copper, titanium, zinc, iron, and silver have earned the most important applications because of their catalytic and exclusive biological properties. They are gaining utmost importance in the fields of medicine, and biology and also shows the antibacterial, anticancer, and antifungal activities of nanoparticles. Such nanoparticles are considered potential antioxidants which are used in cancer treatment and other infectious diseases. In this review, we discussed an overview of various reports on the biological synthesis of various metallic nanoparticles by Tinospora cordifolia, Azadirachta indica, Ocimum sanctum, Moringa indica, and Ricinus communis. These nanoparticles have an important role in medicines and cosmetic science which gives a therapeutic effect on the skin and hair and are also used for other treatments like pigmentation, photo aging, wrinkles, dark spots, etc." @default.
