- W4385606680 abstract "MRIL_Prime Logging has been widely used in Junggar Basin for oil exploration and petrophysical studies. The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Imaging Logging- Prime represents a new revolution in formation evaluation with wireline logging. MRIL_Prime tool responses are unique among logging tools. MRIL porosity is independent of matrix minerals, and the total response is very sensitive to fluid properties. Because of differences in relaxation times and diffusivity among fluids, MRIL_P data can be used to differentiate clay-bound water, capillary-bound water, movable water, gas, light oil, and viscous oils. Clay-bound water, capillary-bound water, and movable water occupy different pore sizes and locations. Hydrocarbon fluids differ from brine in their locations in the pore space, usually occupying the larger pores. They also differ from each other and brine in viscosity and diffusivity. MRIL_P logging uses these differences to characterize the fluids in the pore space. When oil, gas, and water are present in rock simultaneously, their signals on T2 distributions of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) usually overlap each other. Therefore, it is very difficult to differentiate them by one-dimensional MRIL_P logging. We need the two-dimensional MRIL_P logging method. The performance of the (T1, T2) and (T2, D) two-dimensional MRIL_P method for identifying fluids in different kinds of reservoirs. The 2DFC T1T2 and T2D inversion method is capable of recognizing oil reservoirs of low and mediate viscosity. We can also calculate oil viscosity through the T2D inversion. Through the processing and analysis of 2D MRIL_P NMR logging data of glutenite reservoir in xxx well in Mahu area, the T1T2 and T2D distribution domain map is obtained, which better indicates the oil characteristics of the reservoir, and the interpretation results are verified by oil test." @default.
