- W4385606944 abstract "Block M is located in the northwest edge of Madre de Dios basin and in the front edge of the sub Andean fold thrust belt, Peru. The Permian carbonate rock is an exploration potential layer. Due to the strong heterogeneity of the reservoir and few wells control, it is difficult to predict the reservoir. Taking the Permian carbonate reservoir as the research object in Block M, based on the study of carbonate sedimentary facies, this paper analyzes the coupling relationship between the distribution of sedimentary facies and variation function, establishes a low-frequency model in line with the geological law through the facies-controlled modeling method, and conduct facies-controlled seismic inversion under the constraint of low-frequency model. The inversion results show that the weathering layer is developed at the top of the carbonate rock section, and the hilly grainstone and layered marl are developed at the middle and lower part. The oolitic limestone developed in grain-beach is a favorable reservoir. The reservoir thickness shows a gradual thinning trend from the development area of grain-beach oolitic limestone in the middle and east to the development area of intertidal marl in the West. The reservoir distribution is consistent with the distribution law of regional sedimentary facies. Facies-controlled inversion has achieved the expected results in carbonate reservoir prediction, which provides an important basis for further evaluating the exploration potential of carbonate rocks." @default.
