- W4385608511 abstract "The Cambrian-Ordovician carbonate formations in Tarim Basin have the features of large burial depth, strong heterogeneity, severe absorption and attenuation of seismic waves. Permian igneous rocks are widely distributed, so the seismic response of diffraction wave field formed by deep strike-slip faults and fracture-vug body is weak, which make seismic imaging of reservoirs difficult. Aiming at the needs of exploration and development of deep strike-slip faults and fracture-vug reservoirs of strings of beads in the study area, a new generation reverse time migration imaging technology combining with variable-scale Gaussian beam tomography inversion velocity modeling technology are used. Thus the false faults in the underlying strata caused by igneous rocks are effectively eliminated, the imaging quality of ultra-deep carbonate strike-slip faults and fracture-vug body is effectively improved, and the spatial positions of the beads are more accurate. In addition, the signal-to-noise ratio is improved a lot. The application provides reliable data for trap implementation and well location deployment." @default.
