The research was conducted by means of observation, interviews, and literature study. The results showed that the customary law community of Bungku Owi Singkalong depended on natural resources for their livelihoods. The existence of customary regulations keeps natural resources preserved. The community still upholds customary law as a guide for life. Communities obey customary laws with all the rules and consequences of violations.
