- W4385672019 abstract "The use of virtual benches to conduct research and teach students how to develop models is a topical issue. A review of existing virtual test benches is carried out. A virtual bench for mobile robot (MR) motors is considered. A model of direct current (DC) motor in state space is developed. Experiments have been carried out with 4 DC motor models with the reduced armature winding. Experimental results are compared with those of a digital twin of the motor. The electric current residual increases as the resistance of the DC motor armature winding decreases. With a stepped voltage input, the electric current residual is larger. The control unit submodel to generate a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal has been developed. The simulation results show the following parameters of MR motor model: MR motor displacement at 2.5 m, maximum gearbox angular velocity 0.2 rads−1, maximum torque on the gearbox output shaft 15 Nm, maximum DC motor angular velocity 30 rads−1. Modeling motor was performed in SimInTech software. The advantage of the proposed solution is that the motor can be quickly investigated and identified. For example, it is possible to determine how much the armature resistance of a real motor differs from the nameplate values." @default.
