Сбор материала проводился с 2017–2022 гг. Использованы методы визуального наблю- дения животных и следов их жизнедеятельности в различных биотопах, определение видовой принадлежности субрецентных костных остатков из приповерхностных отложений биотопов и отложений карстовой полости (пещера Чесночная) и материалы из программы по изучению биоразнообразия iNaturalist. Так же включены данные из отчета по г. Куштау А.Р. Ишбирдина, М.М. Кривошеева, С.В. Герасимова [2019]. Класс Земноводные представлен на Стерлитамакских шиханах и в их окрестностях двумя отрядами — Хвостатые, Caudata Oppel, 1871 (1 вид — Triturus cristatus) и Бесхвостые, Anura Rafinesque, 1815 (3 вида — Bufo bufo, Rana arvalis и Pelophylax ridibundus). 2 вида — Triturus cristatus и Bufo bufo включены в Красную книгу Республики Башкортостан [2014]. Класс Пресмыкающиеся представлен 1 отрядом — Чешуйчатые, Squamata Oppel, 1811 (7 видов — Anguis fragilis, Zootoca vivipara, Lacerta agilis, Coronella austriaca, Natrix natrix, Natrix tessellata, Vipera berus). 4 вида — Anguisfragilis, Vipera berus, Natrix tessellata, Coronella austriaca включены в Красную книгу Республики Башкортостан [2014], причем здесь находится единственное достоверно установленное местообитание Natrix tessellata в Южноуральском ре- гионе. Класс Млекопитающие представлен 5 отрядами: Насекомоядные, Eulipotyphla Waddell, Okada & Hasegawa, 1999 (2 вида — Erinaceus concolor, Talpa europaea), Рукокрылые, Chiroptera Blumenbach, 1779 (5 видов — Myotis daubentoni, Myotis dasycneme, Pipistrellus nathusii, Plecotus auritus, Vespertilio murinus), Зайцеобразные, Lagomorpha Brandt, 1855 (1 вид — Ochotona pusilla), Грызуны, Rodentia Bowdich, 1821 (11 видов — Tamias sibiricus, Castor fiber, Spermophilus major, Eliomys quercinus, Lagurus lagurus, Clethrionomys rufocanus, Clethrionomys glareolis, Microtus agrestis, Microtus arvalis, Microtus oeconomus, Ondatra zibethicus), Хищные, Carnivora Bowdich, 1821 (6 видов — Canis lupus, Vulpes vulpes, Ursus arctos, Martes martes, Mustela nivalis, Meles amurensis), Парнокопытные, Artiodactyla Owen, 1848 (3 вида — Sus scrofa, Capreolus pygargus, Alces alces). 6 видов — Myotis daubentoni, Myotis dasycneme, Pipistrellus nathusii, Plecotus auritus, Ochotona pusilla, Eliomys quercinus включены в Красную книгу Республики Башкортостан [2014].&#x0D; The faunas of amphibians, reptiles and mammals of the Sterlitamak shikhans located on the territory of the Toratau Geopark (Southern Urals) were studied. Protected species have been identified. The collection of material was sampled from 2017 till 2022. The methods of visual observation of animals and traces of their vital activity in various biotopes, determination of the species affiliation of subrecent bone remains from the near-surface deposits of biotopes and deposits of the karst cavity (Garlic Cave) and materials from the iNaturalist biodiversity study program were used. Also included are data from the report on the city of Kushtau A.R. Ishbirdina, M.M. Krivosheeva, S.V. Gerasimov [2019]. The class Amphibians is represented on the Sterlitamak shikhans and in their vicinity by two orders: Tailed, Caudata Oppel, 1871 (1 species — Triturus cristatus) and Tailless, Anura Rafinesque, 1815 (3 species — Bufo bufo, Rana arvalis and Pelophylax ridibundus). 2 species — Triturus cristatus and Bufo bufo are included in the Red Book of the Republic of Bashkortostan [2014]. The class Reptiles is represented by 1 order — Scaled, Squamata Oppel, 1811 (7 species — Anguis fragilis, Zootoca vivipara, Lacerta agilis, Coronella austriaca, Natrix natrix, Natrix tessellata, Vipera berus). 4 species — Anguis fragilis, Vipera berus, Natrix tessellata, Coronella austriaca are included in the Red Book of the Republic of Bashkortostan [2014], and here is the only reliably established habitat of Natrix tessellata in the South Ural region.
