EBSD phase map illustrated that AlCuMnFe IMPs consisted of Al7Cu2Fe and Al6Mn, based on which the coupling system of the two phases and matrix was synthesized by Spark Plasma Sintering for simulating multi-phase AlCuMnFe IMPs. Corrosion of IMPs was accelerated after coupling Al7Cu2Fe and Al6Mn. First-principles calculations further elaborated the mechanism of the coupling effect in accelerating the corrosion of Al6Mn and improving the oxygen reduction reaction current on the surface of Al7Cu2Fe from the perspective of electronic structure and electron transfer." @default.
