- W4386156539 abstract "With the research and development of fiber composite winding tubes, this paper proposed an idea of using bamboo skin materials to prepare hollow tubes by hand lay-up process based on fiber winding tube technology, in order to solve the problem of existing bamboo hollow components in the field of civil engineering like radial bending, irregular section, bamboo joints and other problems. In view of the characteristics of brittle failure of bamboo winding tubes, this paper reinforced the outside of the bamboo winding tubes parallel to grain with bamboo skins perpendicular to grain, and studied the influence of different transversely reinforced layers on the overall bearing capacity of bamboo winding tubes. The test results showed that by adding transverse reinforcement to the outside of the bamboo winding tube, its bearing capacity can be effectively improved, making it an ideal column member. In addition, a prediction formula for the compressive strength of transversely reinforced bamboo winding tubes was proposed, and the calculation results of the formula are in good agreement with the test results." @default.
