Compared with the two-stage ball milling process of the original system, the cost of grinding power consumption is significantly reduced by about 50.16%, which provides a reference for the subsequent research on energy saving and consumption reduction in ball milling operations. The optimal grinding parameters were determined to be a 50% grinding concentration, a 0.6 material ball ratio, a 3:2:5 media ratio (10:15:20 mm), a 90% medium filling rate, as well as a 110 rpm stirring speed. Iron concentrate products with an iron grade of 68.18% and an iron recovery rate of 94.17% were obtained. The successful case of ceramic medium stirring mill replacing two-stage grinding provides a feasible solution for energy conservation and consumption reduction in mines in China." @default.
