• W4386398973 abstract "AbstrakLatar Belakang: Penyakit menular masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang menimbulkan kesakitan, kematian, dan kecacatan yang tinggi sehingga perlu dilakukan penyelenggaraan penanggulangan melalui upaya pencegahan, pengendalian, dan pemberantasan yang efektif dan efisien. Berdasarkan data statistik WHO pada tahun 2015 2,1 juta orang terinfeksi HIV sehingga menambah total orang yang hidup dengan HIV pada akhir tahun 2015 menjadi 36,7 juta orang. Data yang sama juga menunjukkan bahwa di tahun 2015 terdapat 212 juta kasus malaria di dunia dan telah menelan korban sebanyak 429.000 jiwa. Di tahun yang sama terdapat 10,4 juta kasus Tuberculosis (TB) baru dan 1,4 juta kematian karena TB. Sejarah telah mencatat bagaimana pandemi global dapat menyebabkan kerugian besar baik dalam korban jiwa maupun kerugian ekonomi.Tujuan: Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui berbagai aspek SWOT pada program Penanggulangan Penyakit Menular (P2M) di Puskesmas Laosu.Metode: Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada program P2M dari aspek kekuatan yaitu adanya perencanaan, memiliki strategi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat, memiliki sumber dana, adanya tenaga kader sebagai salah satu bentuk pemberdayaan SDM, memiliki waktu masing-masing pelayanan, dan adanya koordinasi dengan lintas program. Dari aspek kelemahan yaitu ketersediaan SDM masih kurang, khususnya tidak ada petugas bidang analisis dan epidemiologi, hasil capaian strategi belum mencapai target, jumlah sarana dan prasarana yang masih kurang dan belum memadai. Dari aspek peluang yaitu adanya kerjasama yang bagus dengan Dinas Kesehatan, mempunyai cara dalam memberikan informasi dan edukasi dibidang P2M ke masyarakat, dan respon/tanggapan masyarakat ketika diberikan informasi dan edukasi diterima oleh masyarakat. Serta dari aspek ancaman yaitu masyarakat belum mengetahui tentang faktor risiko penyakit menular, masyarakat yang kurang menerima dengan diagnosis penyakit yang diderita.Kesimpulan: Puskesmas Laosu memiliki berbagai aspek kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman dalam program Penanggulangan Penyakit Menular (P2M). Dengan adanya kekuatan dan peluang yang dimiliki agar terus di pertahankan dan ditingkatkan sehingga hal tersebut bisa memaksimalkan kelemahan dan menghindari ancaman yang ada.AbstractBackground: Infectious diseases are still a public health problem that causes high morbidity, mortality, and disability, so it is necessary to implement prevention through effective and efficient prevention, control, and eradication efforts. From the aspect of weakness, namely the availability of human resources is still lacking, in particular there are no officers in the field of analysis and epidemiology, the results of the strategy achievements have not reached the target, the number of facilities and infrastructure is still lacking and inadequate. From the aspect of opportunity, namely the existence of good cooperation with the Health Office, having a way of providing information and education in the field of P2M to the community, and the response/response of the community when information and education are received by the community. And from the threat aspect, the community does not know about the risk factors for infectious diseases, people are less receptive to the diagnosis of the disease they are suffering from.Conclusion: Laosu Health Center has various aspects of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the Infectious Disease Control (P2M) program.
