- W4386414819 abstract "Following the evolution of concretes, high-performance concretes are surpassed by advanced cementitious composites. These composites are materials based on Portland cement, composed of aggregates with a diameter of no more than 0.6 mm, a high content of pozzolanic additions and additives, such as post-reactive concrete, also known as Ultra High-Performance Concrete (UHPC). The development of advanced concretes based on Portland cement gave rise to “concrete science”, which uses increasingly sophisticated equipment to study the micro and nanostructure of mixtures. Advanced cementitious composite becomes an excellent option for concrete structures in special works, due to its high durability, even in highly aggressive environments." @default.
