- W4386428384 abstract "Soliton microcombs (SMCs), originating from the balance of cavity loss and gain as well as nonlinearity and dispersion, are formed in the micro-resonator [1]. Among them, the perfect soliton crystal (PSC) is a special soliton state with soliton pulses distributed evenly along the resonator circumference. The number of the PSCs corresponds to the comb line spacing [2]. Previously, a cascaded Bragg scattering process driven by an extra incident continuous wave (C.W.) laser was observed in a Kerr micro-resonator, which triggers the generation of idler frequency components for the dissipative solitons [3]. In this work, we investigate the PSC linear-wave scattering by injecting an extra probe laser. With a properly set probe laser, the comb spectrum is adjusted in the experiments." @default.
