- W4386495374 abstract "A receive phased-array antenna with 256 dual-polarized active antenna elements is realized and demonstrated. The antenna is composed of four sub-arrays with 8x8 antenna elements referred to as antenna modules. A module of size 8x8 is typically quite common for such approaches and various types have been reported in the literature. Yet, the combination of such modules to realize scalable apertures is not so frequently addressed. This paper presents a full-sized phased array for satellite reception in the K-band along with gain pattern and G/T measurements. It demonstrates the scalability by combining four modules so to form a phased-array antenna with 256 dual-polarized active antenna elements." @default.
